AFC qualifiers told us that there is no use of mathematics in front of the fate !

We do see often, people saying that mathematics is very useful.

It certainly do play an important in our lives but it's useless in front of the fate.

This happened last night with the U 23 Indian National Football team, as we failed to progress for the main tournament.

We had 4 points but as the result against the 4th placed team is not considered, we got a point only, collectively.

It is weird that we finished 2nd in the group but on collective points gained we are last as Oman have 3, Kyrgyzstan have 4, yet they are not above us.

This is funny and very weird too, it does gives an impression of vague qualification rules, improper distribution of the teams and advantage to the few teams.

The rule gave an advantage to the top placed teams in every group as they got every point and on the other hand  it nullified the points for the second placed teams in the group.

In case of the Kyrgyzstan, the result was more heartbreaking because they were let down in the penalties only, had they won the tie breaker, they would have qualified as one of the second best placed teams.

Isn't fate is above everything, whereas had India won within 90 minutes, India would have been through too, due to positive goal difference and with the 3 points.

Now, it's all up to the AFC, how it will synchronise itself and mathematical calculations, so to give every team a better chance in qualification scenarios.

Otherwise fate will always overpower the realistic phenomenon of life.

Organising every competition in a better way should ge the priority now, because it will only safeguard the interests of the minor teams.

Otherwise, they will get robbed again and again, from the playing spirit, points and the future success.

To negate the advantages, better placing of the groups is all necessary, which should be prioritised.

As the competition is also rising in between the different confederations of football, improper management by the AFC, will only push back us further down.

Already, when it comes to the world football, Asian teams and the clubs, fail to garner much positivity.

It will be detrimental if things are not corrected now, because mathematics should be a criteria to determine the fate and fate should not be the criteria of deciding anything.

Hopefully, we will do better in this aspect and teams will get the level playing field, otherwise AFC will remain a confederation with a lot of financial backing but without any worldcup to it's trophy cabinet.
